Description:
100% of the proceeds of this bandana support the Hetrick Martin Institute (HMI), an organization in NYC which provides a safe space, support, and education for at-risk LGBTQ youth aged 13-24.
Mister Bandana is proud to partner with Hetrick Martin to showcase the talents of young LGBTQ artists in our hometown of NYC. In summer 2020, we sponsored a design contest with the talented kids at HMI to create a new bandana - and this was one of the winners!
About the artist: Alex Silva, age 18 and currently a college student in Rochester, NY, designed this bandana to represent the concept of unity.

Alex's statement:
-Atlas has several different meanings as a word. It could mean a collection of maps. For this design, I interpreted the collection of ideas and unity as something that leads and helps show direction. This bandana can be worn in black and white, or tie-dyed by the wearer to create their own individual vision.
