I was planning an open fire cooking excursion to Garzon Uruguay and was searching for new bandanas and I thought my order was a bit last minute and might be cutting it too close so I responded to the order confirmation asking if I might have it in time. Had a response within hours from a HUMAN to let me know it wouldnt be a problem. So happy to have a domestically made LIFETIME product that was being packed by humans and not just a dropped shipped intermediary with no connection to the products origins or the desires of its end user.
Now the bandanna! No doubt it will last a lifetime and it performed wonderfully during my trip. I paired it with the woggle around my neck so it would be at-the-ready to pull up over my face to filter out the smoke of open fire cooking. It is well made and the cloth has the bulk of a true bandana so when it was on my neck it was behaving as a scarf keeping the cold damp air from penetrating between my shirts collar and neck. I love how the red/white evokes classic bandana vibes and the pineapples as a symbol of hospitality pair it extremely well with my providing nourishing fire roasted foods to friends and clients.

I love the look of this bandana! For many years my back right pocket has always had a tenugui in it. While there are unlimited uses to a well made tea towel its limitation for me is as a face covering. When I spotted this one in rattan I was elated. The same look as the tenugui and uses such as a place to sit a kitchen knife, wipe a blade after honing, neckerchief, head band and knowing its structure will hold up to using is with reckless abandon for many years has put the tea towels in the back of the pile. So happy to find a domestically made product and while you could buy 25 cheap bandanas for the same price point...if you are going to do any bandana stuff this one will most likely outlive me. I'm sure I will have years of use and with each wear and wash it will just get better and better. @pete.romano

I regularly cook over wood fires and was looking for a US Made solution to cheap import bandanas sold more for their eye appeal in our disposable textile economy. Having a 100% cotton bandana that is sturdy has unlimited use from protecting hands when grabbing hot things, a face covering from smoke, wrapped around the neck; with the woggle, to absorb sweat or soaked with water to cool or just look good and be at the ready or to blow my nose on the way home and just shove in my pocket. The orange color is great and pairs so well with a denim shirt in appearance but unlike a cheaply made product its a bit of a swiss army knife at the ready.

I wanted a cute & inexpensive/non-silk bandana to protect my face from dust for a safari I’m doing (in Africa’s hot season)… and of course have it also be chic, and this fit the bill. Make sure to wash it when it arrives because it gets much softer!

This woggle performed wonderfully on a recent cooking trip to Uruguay along with my 3 new bandanas. I'm a bit thick in the neck so after rolling the bandanna I tied two small knots on the end to create some bulk to belay my fear of it slipping off. I'm certain based on the quality that as the leather is softened with wear I will have a lifetime of memories with it under my chin!
